As you know, we moved permanently to Scottsdale, Arizona in November after selling our mortgage company (Pacesetter Mortgage) in Michigan.
We have spent the last 5 months getting to know our new home, traveling, and deciding what we want to do when we grow up.
Mortgage Broker Coaching, LLC is a consulting company to Mortgage Broker Owners and high producing loan officers to help them develop their owner skills.
Many successful owners and loan officers become slaves to their company's and the dream of owning their own business becomes tainted with long hours, inconsistent product delivery and staffing issues.
Our new company will help them conquer these issues and create a company that not only gives them the income that they desire but the time to enjoy it. The added benefit to this accomplishment is creating a company that has value and could ultimately be sold.
We intend to keep our consulting company to no more than 10 clients so that we can maintain the lifestyle that we desire in this stage of our life.
The photograph above is from our debut at the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers Spring Expo. We met hundreds of very nice people and feel confident that we met a few of our first clients.
We are both very excited about this new venture because it will allow us to give back to the industry that has afforded us so much in our mortgage careers.
I also intend to be deeply involved in the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers as well. This is a great organization and will afford me another way to stay in touch with the industry and share my 20 years of industry experience.

This morning we ventured to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. The cactus, for the most part, are not in bloom yet. However, we were richly rewarded with the opportunity to photography butterflies at the butterfly exhibit.
Wow! The colors that I found in there. I have over 100 amazing photographs to sort through.
Click the photograph to come over to my flickr site. I will be adding lots of cool photographs over the next few days.
I don't know about you, but I think these are my most beautiful photographs yet. I was VERY excited to see all this beautiful color in my lens as I was taking them.
I can really tell, however, that this camera produces a significantly more vibrant product to start with . Can you tell?
We spent about 4 hours there looking at all the different animals. When we got to the Baboons I found myself disappointed because they were staying quite a ways away from the front of their habitat and even with my 18-135 zoom, I couldn't quite capture the photograph that I wanted.
When I got home and began to experiment with Adobe Photoshop, I found that the photographs that I desired were really there all the time. They were just waiting for me to find them.
I am learning that every digital photograph can be made better by using this software. This guy, to the left, was barely noticeable in my photography. However, because I had a fairly large file, I was able to zoom in, add a little more contrast, and bingo....more of what I was really looking for.
This certainly isn't a prize photography, however it is far better than I thought I had, and certainly significantly better than I could have obtained with my point and shoot digital.
By the way, he isn't really singing, he was just at the beginning stages of a yawn!
This particular photograph was taken on our street a few nights ago. You can see a similar photograph, two posts below, and compare that to what I was able to do with Photoshop Elements.
I was able to make the colors much more vibrant and also with the text tool share my thoughts as I was taking this photograph.
I hope you enjoy it. I would love to hear your comments!
